How to combine rooms into a virtual walk?

During viewing of a virtual tour, the user should feel as if they are actually taking such a tour. To achieve this, after uploading the 360 photos and adding the tour to the administrative panel, you need to prepare suitable navigation between the rooms.

Markers are used to navigate through the virtual tour. These are clickable points that allow the user to move to the next location. To prepare the navigation with the side menu, select Virtual Tours -> Markers.

In the panel, a list of added rooms will be displayed. Clicking on the first thumbnail will give you a detailed view of the added room.

To add a marker, click on the + icon.

In the Add Marker window, you can add a navigation marker. You have the option to choose:

  • Marker style
    Icon or Selection area

  • Look At
moves the view in the direction of the clicked marker

  • Room Target
You also need to select the room to which the marker should lead when clicked

  • Override Initial Position
Drag the view to set the starting position belongs to this marker. Only works if 'Same Azimuth' is disabled

  • Add Marker to go back
To position it correctly, override the initial position of the Room Target in the forward direction

To add a marker, click on +Add.

If you have chosen an icon, you can also drag the marker to change its position and set Perspective, Size, visibility, Z Order, and Scale. After adding a Icon marker you can edit it freely, move it, or delete it.

If you have chosen a shape, first define the area in which you will draw the navigation element.

Then, draw any shape you like.

After adding a Selection area you can also edit it freely, move it, or delete it.

After adding markers to all the rooms, you can test the navigation in your virtual tour.

To check the navigation with the side menu, select the Preview option.

You can now add POI (points of interest).
